Since its dawning 2002, the São Paolo duo Glocal has steadily risen to become one of Brazil’s most innovative electronic music acts. With a musical style that imparts a distinct 80s musical essence on a firm backbone of modern dance music styles such as techno, electro, breaks and progressive, the pair of El Souto and Lennox is known for creating an encompassing multimedia bombardment of the senses with a marked sense for thematic significance. Their unique approach has led them to a constant touring schedule through Brazil’s most vibrant electronic hotspots, with memorable performances at top clubs and festivals such as Creamfields, Universo Paralello, D-Edge, Clash, and Tribe, alongside such legends as Anthony Rother, Stephan Bodzin, Underworld, Sasha, Hernán Cattaneo and countless others. With their works already appearing on Low Kik Records and Flow Mexico, Glocal launched their own imprint Chaosmopolitan Views in 2007, with the intent of finding and presenting music which captures the urban chaotic inspiration which drives their own productions.
